Are you interested in being a Food Product Developer? Are you interested in a career involving Food, Science and Management? Are you interested in gaining some skills and getting a part-time job? Are you in grade 10 or 11? If so, the Hospitality - Food Science and Management SHSM might be for you! This program is designed to give university and college bound students some practical hands-on experience with food to prepare you for a food-related career. Hospitality - Food Science and Management SHSM students receive free benefits and certifications including Food Handler Certification and Smart Serve Certification. With goals scored by: Cam Bauman, Brayden McLellan, a hat trick by Elias (ee-lee-as) Rahimi, Marcus Rallis, Ruben Solano and Harrison Yearwood. It was a high scoring game! Colour commentary was provided by Harrison Yearwood. It was a great game played by all! Congratulations gentlemen! Thank you to everyone who donated to the food drive. It is very much appreciated! Today is collection day!! The Barrie Food Bank strives to provide food relief to individuals and families of our community who are in need. The food bank is in dire need of donations from the public. Over 840,000 Canadians seek help from a food bank every month. Just a reminder this is the last week to bring in donations in the boxes placed in classrooms. Please continue to bring in food or money donations. The food bank is still currently in need of baby food, canned fruit and vegetables, drinking boxes, school snacks, size 5 & 6 diapers, baby wipes and personal care products, although all donations are appreciated. If your homeroom, week A or B has the most donations your class will win a prize. A reminder of our light cardio and stretch today at the start of lunch on the field. Also, the coaches would like to thank all those who came out to cheer the seniors on. In the future we ask that you show you support from the other side of the field and not behind the bench as it is a distraction to the players.
