AP Computer Exam

 

For all students wanting to write the AP Computer Science exam in May there will be an information meeting after school this Wednesday Feb 12th in room 147.

 

Badminton Practices

 

Attention all badminton players, 

Badminton practice this Wednesday is 4:15pm - 7pm due to the basketball game. Be ready to set up the gym after the game is finished. 

 

Board Game Club

 

Bored of games like Monopoly or Battleship?  Check out the Board Game Club to play modern games like King of Tokyo, Ticket to Ride, or Codenames.  Whether you like strategy or laughter, there's a game for you.  First meeting is after school on Thursday in Room 241 from 2:45-4:30. Google Classroom code is outside Room 241.

 

Girls Soccer

 

Attention all girls interested in playing soccer this spring.  There will be a brief but very important meeting in portable 6 at the start of periods 3 and 4 this Thursday.  Forms needed to for tryouts and the season will be handed out then.  DO NOT send a friend, come in person and get the yourself.

 

Grad Photos

 

Attention Graduates! The last day for grad photos including retakes will be February 20th.  Book your appointment now! Visit www.bookmygrad.ca

Our school code is ISS.  You must book your appointment online in order to have your photo taken.

P7 Christian Club

 

P7 Christian Club will start again this week in Room 241 after school on Tuesdays from 2:45 to 3:30. Come meet new people, play some games, and learn about faith.  All are welcome.

 

Stem Club

 

Stem Club-  Come down to room 257 after school tomorrow we will finally be building a trebuchet, anyone is welcome to come and help out.

 

Student Trustee Position

 

If you are interested in earning a credit, getting paid and getting some political experience, ever consider becoming a student trustee.  You must be a grade 11 or grade 12 student next year and able to attend monthly meetings at various locations in the county.  If interested, please see Mrs. Reid in the main office before Thursday.

 

Waterloo Computer Contest

 

Reminder to all Waterloo computer contest writers to come to room 147 on Wednesday at 11:15 to write the 3 hour contest.  Bring your lunch with you.
