Wrestling Team

Innisdale's Wrestling team participated in the OFSSA Wrestling Championship in Ottawa Monday through Wednesday this week. Our wrestlers performed wonderfully with all four athletes qualifying for day 2 of the tournament, and the ultimate following placements in all of Ontario: Carson Coldrey, 16th; Nathan Blackwell, 8th, Tiernan Hayes 7th and Carson Patel finishing on the podium in 6th place. Congratulations for all their hard work and improvement culminating in these excellent results.

Animation team

Congratulations to Lee Ferguson, Jenna Noel, Luel Cooper and Meela Stepanyuk for winning gold at yesterday's regional skills competition! They won first place in both 2D and 3D animation categories. Innisdale's animation team will be traveling to Toronto to compete at Skills Ontario in May.

OELC

Calling all Kraken, Wolves, Lions and Dragons...It is House Colour Day! OELC has planned amazing activities for you! Come enjoy the sunshine and play in the snow. See you at lunch!

Grade 12 Visual Arts

Congratulations to 14 of our Grade 12 students from the Visual Arts, Media Arts and Integrated Arts programs whose work was selected by the MacLaren Art Centre to be part of Portfolio 2023, a juried art show for graduating SCDSB students. The opening reception is tomorrow from 1 to 3 pm at the MacLaren Art Centre downtown Barrie, and the show runs until April 2nd. Go check it out!
